This is a true story of two individuals from opposite sides of the tragic 1994 genocide against the Tusti. Françoise, a survivor, and Innocent, a perpetrator, met during a socio-therapy group gathering. Innocent confessed to killing Mukaremera's sister, Dativa, during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. This confession, though painful and traumatising, sparked a journey of forgiveness and reconciliation between them and their families. This resonates with many individuals in Rwanda, working together towards building resilience among communities.
