Part 2:    • A Deep Dive Into the Brilliance of An...

Andor is the best Star Wars thing you have(n't) watched and I admire it so deeply that I decided to create this extended commentary/analysis on what makes it brilliant mostly in terms of its narrative structure and standout scenes. I go through each episode attempting to connect the dots between its various narrative threads and characters to help illustrate the exhaustive level of detail that went into constructing this series in a cohesive and thoroughly satisfying way. Andor illustrates the best of what Star Wars can offer and a faint glimmer of hope for a brighter future for a franchise (under Disney) that has always been held under the weight of its reliance on the past/nostalgia. And even beyond that it is so well-written and constructed it stands out as one of the greatest television series I've ever watched; often in ways that many don't give it credit for because it is "just a Star Wars series". So join me as we deep dive into what makes Andor so brilliant in a way that it manages to stand entirely on its own. This is part 1 of 2.

I do not own most of the music included in this video. Music included in the video comes from several sources that I love and admire and that served as creative inspiration in making this video. I will happily provide the details of the songs included throughout the video upon request. I wanted to do a full track list here but the description size limit wouldn't allow it. Artists/sources include the Andor Soundtrack by Nicolas Brittell (naturally), Ludwig Forssell's Death Stranding soundtrack, the Mass Effect series, Detroit Become Human, Banjo-Kazooie, Undertale, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, the Silent Hill series, the Pathologic series, Fez, Hyper Light Drifter, and Cry of Fear. Once again, I do not monetize or place ads on any of my videos as this is purely a work of passion for me. The use of this music content falls under fair use for repurposed remix use in a transformative manner. Again, I merely included this music out of admiration and am not looking to gain profit from any of the content featured in this video.
