The whole ballet world mourns the sudden passing of Michaela Mabinty DePrince (1995 - 2024, at age 29), a beautiful star and pioneering ballerina who overcame unbelievable odds and changed the ballet world forever. We ourselves were shocked and greatly saddened by the news, she was certainly gone too soon. We want to dedicate this video to her, and also to her adoptive mother, Elaine DePrince (1947 - 2024), who truly showed the world the beauty and transformative power of a mother's love.
