Major Seventh Chords
Major seventh chords are built by adding a major seventh interval to a major chord. They have a smooth, dreamy quality and are often used in jazz, bossa nova, and pop ballads. The inclusion of the major seventh note gives these chords a sophisticated and lush sound.
