NUBIAN ROSE is a band with the roots in the 80's hard, but melodic hard rock. The unique sound of their music has a lot to do with their phenomenal singer Sofia Lilja, famous vocal coach from Swedish TV4-show Idol. She's got a tone like Ann Wilson of Heart, an attitude like Debbie Harry of Blondie and feelings like the Queen of Soul herself; Aretha Franklin. Sofia is explosive and in total control of the stage and of the audience. Her roots are in soul and classical music, but combined with the wonderful world of HARD ROCK something great is happening.
