Mayer spent a long night in Detroit City taking this show right to the edge of arena cerfew after a random audience shout out led to perhaps the first ever and completely impromptu acoustic performance of Wild Blue, followed by a nice transition into Who Says. While in the middle of explaining why Wild Blue can only he performed electric, Mayer spontaneously entertains the request and strolls into a perfect acoustic rendition of Wild Blue. This song now may appear in future acoustic performances on this tour. A truly special moment captured here in Detroit.
