I've been wanting a percussion stompbox for playing acoustic blues, so I finally broke down and built several versions - all for less than $20 US. I just thought I'd share some of my discoveries in case anyone else wants to build a stompbox. You can pay up to $300 for a commercial version, but I don't think they work much better than mine.
