A quick video review of the Alpinestars T-SP R Drystar pants, as I didn't see any video reviews prior to me purchasing them a few months ago.

While I normally replace L1 armor with L2 armor, I felt like the GP-R knee protectors that are in these pants are sufficiently safe for my needs. They are more rigid than other armor types that Alpinestars sells as replacements. For the hips, Alpinestars only has the Bioflex armor that will fit in these pockets (there are larger protectors for leather race pants). The Bioflex armor only comes as L1, but it's better than nothing.
