Remember when Pub-G was banned, and then Fau-G was introduced, which was also promoted by a superstar? But that made-in-India video game didn't quite live up to the hype. But now, things have changed! 🎮🔥

Recently, I played an amazing game called Raji: An Ancient Epic. It's an action-adventure video game developed by Nodding Heads Games, based in Pune, Maharashtra. It's our very own Indian game that can give anyone a run for their money! 🇮🇳✨

Raji incorporates Hindu mythology, drawing inspiration from epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana. Graphically speaking, its in-game design is inspired by the style of Pahari Paintings, and the in-game architecture is inspired by medieval Rajasthan! 🎨🏰

The journey of developing this game was quite interesting and challenging. Although 13 people collaborated to develop the game, it started with just 6 people in January 2017. Nodding Heads Games secured funding through a Kickstarter campaign in 2017, and developer Shruti Ghosh had to sell her apartment to sustain the team! And finally, in 2020, it became a reality! 💯💪
