In this TEDx talk, Barbara Tantillo shares her story of how her traumatic brain injury initially led her to question her ability to succeed in life but ultimately helped her realize her full potential and overcome adversity. She expresses how her experiences with disability helped her come to the conclusion that the idea of "success" should be more inclusive of people of all different levels of abilities. Barbara is the Director of Global Medical Affairs Quality at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from East Stroudsburg University with a Masters in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance from Temple University School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Staten Island, Pennsylvania and PIscataway, New Jersey and currently resides in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her English bulldogs. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
