Park Yoo-chun (born June 4, 1986), formerly known as Micky Yoochun and better known by the mononym Yoochun, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is a former member of the South Korean boy bands JYJ and TVXQ.
Childhood
Yoochun was born in Seoul, South Korea. In 6th grade, he moved with his family to the United States to live in Fairfax, Virginia. And attended Holmes Middle County Middle School and Chantilly High School. He was discovered by Brothers Entertainment and returned to Korea and joined SM Entertainment. He also has a younger brother, actor Park Yoohwan.
Career
In February 2003 Yoochun officially debuted as a member of the boy band TVXQ in a performance with the participation of two famous singers, BoA and Britney Spears. In addition to TVXQ activities, Yoochun also participated in DJ Makai's song "Tokyo Lovelight" and rapped in the song "Heartquake" from Super Junior's third album "Sorry, Sorry". He participated in two TV shows, Banjun Theater and Vacation, with TVXQ.
In early 2006, Yoochun began to try his hand at acting with a new guest role in "Rainbow Romance".
