Lucy talked about being kicked out of a high school band in the Home Video Liner Notes. The Scottie and Preston mentioned went on to own Trace Horse Studios where Historian and Home Video were recorded. Preston and Scottie had an older band in high school called The Moores originally called Cochran/Prudhoe. I'm unsure if this is the band Lucy was kicked out of but she did join them onstage for Just Like Heaven here. Lucy has also talked about the importance of this songs and playing it live with the front row being all guys she ended up romantically involved with. An Interview with that from 2016 is going up at the same time as this it was recorded by KUTX backstage at ACL. As well as it being a special song between her and her first boyfriend. The Moores are still stream-able on spotify and they put out two albums. Scottie and Preston still make music together under a different band called Homeboy Loves You. I will say it does sound like Lucy lends backing vocals to some track on The Moore's made "None Too Ready" but I am completely unsure if that's accurate.
