For my fifth day in Japan, I met up with one of my favorite friends who is a local in the area, and we explored Kamakura together. We ate at Rans, a cozy Italian cafe with a great atmosphere, and she even treated me to a little early birthday surprise!

The famous cookie shop is called Toshimaya and they are know to have Hato Sable ( 鳩サブレー ) a cute pigeon shaped butter cookie, which is my absolute favorite. This larger shop even had other beautiful confectionary and some souvenirs that I bought as well.

We also got to walk around Hase Temple during beautiful afternoon light, and it made the temple more stunning that it already is. We even got to see early hydrangea blooms!

Since I'm still new to the Vlog world, I'm trying a new style where it focuses more on scenery with music than words and talking. Let me know what you think!
