it is maha paritta patha the chant of great protection by the monks of mahamevanwa monestery of srilanka ,and this event was conducted in bengaluru in 2011 ,this chanting process taken whole night. it is for the welfare of all beings, and remembering the words of greatest teacher in its purest form(pali).
