In this video I compare the all new 2025 Chevy Equinox LT and the Equinox Activ or RS features, options, and pricing. For this generation, the Equinox gets slightly larger in size and gains a new Activ trim like most other Chevy SUV's. The Equinox powertrain is mostly a carryover from the previous generation although the AWD equipped models do get a new 8 speed automatic while the FWD versions get a CVT transmission. The same 1.5T engine powers both versions however you do gain a little torque with the AWD models. The Equinox Activ and RS will be equipped identically outside of mostly cosmetic or appearance differences between the two trims. While the starting MSRP is lower on the LT (given it is now the cheapest Equinox) the MSRP's on the Activ and RS are higher than the outgoing model.
