Hello, everyone! Last year, to celebrate the channel's 15th anniversary, I posted a special video looking back at trains I filmed in the year 2003. In this video, we will once again rewind the clock 20 years to look at trains I filmed in the year 2004. We will visit a number of different locations in Southern California, looking at Amtrak, Coaster, Metrolink, Union Pacific and BNSF trains in San Diego, Fresno, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo. We will also make visits to the Alaska Railroad and the Orange Empire Railway Museum, where we will see trolley car 1225, which is now fully restored in British Columbia. Finally, the year 2004 brought the first big change to my video work, as it was the year that I began using a tripod to stabilize my video camera while filming. Some of these scenes are filmed with a tripod while others are still free hand. That's everything for now. So, let's sit back and go back in time to the year 2004!
