Departing the island on the 27th Feb first we did what we call our rellie run visiting the family in Port Macquarie & Wollongong. Our main goal of the holiday with our caravan was to visit Matt on our old yacht Manera which is now laying in Adelaide. We then visited the wineries in the McLaren Vale area and after a week there we spent 10 days cruising along the Great Ocean Road. A stop in Melbourne was next to have the caravan suspension upgraded, we then travelled east through Victoria along the coastline for 8 days with a few nights camping on the Snowy River. Heading up the beautiful NSW southern coastline visiting a good friend Dave in Pambula we ended up in Goulburn at my sisters home. While in Goulburn we had to strip the caravan down ( what an effort that was ) to have it weighed on a weighbridge. This was to have a new tare weight certificate for the compliance plate to be issued with the update of our suspension on the caravan. From Goulburn we visited Sue & Michael in Mittagong then down to Wollongong to see Dad & the family there. While in Wollongong the family in Sydney came down to stay with us at Corrimal Beach Tourist park & a wonderful time was had together there. It was then back up the northern NSW coast & heading back home to Russell Island Qld.
