This song is about our calling to the divine. Just like the waves of the ocean, God's love can wash over us the moment we ask for it. We don't have to go anywhere, or do anything special. We just have to ask for it, and we end up finding out that it is there inside of us and always has been. Sometimes life here on Earth is difficult, and the stories we tell ourselves are often ones of separation, fear, and doubt. But these are lessons for us to learn, and they are meant to point us towards the truth, that we are one with God's love at all times.
