If I was to ask you what the longest film you had ever seen was, you would probably say Titanic, The Godfather or Lord of the Rings.

Today, I decided to watch Satantango/Sátántangó, one of the longest films ever made at 7 and a half hours, Directed by Béla Tarr in 1994 the same year as Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption and Forrest Gump, to name a few.

Watching Satantango almost killed me. Here, I have reviewed the film, giving my unpopular opinions and analysing one of the film’s many theories. Satantango is one of the most miserable and depressing films ever made and it was a horrible viewing experience. What did you think?
