Coastal Source demonstrated their 12.0 Line Source Bollard outdoor speaker system at the 2024 ‪@floridaaudioexpo9533‬ show in Tampa, Florida. This system has some unique properties that give it distinct advantages over many competitors. Coastal Source employed a variable line array driver topology which yields uniform sound over a wide listening area. This allows the system to play LOUD and clean whether you are sitting up close or far away across your pool deck. The system comes with an outdoor Class D amp in a very rugged junction box to protect it from the weather elements. What we heard at the show was audio performance that would give many audiophile indoor speakers a run for their money but stand the test of time and durability even in the Florida heat and weather elements. Definitely check these guys out if you're serious about performance audio outdoors.
