Just a leisurely walk around and drone fly over @ the Virginia State Fair grounds that was host to the 50th BMW MOA Rally.
This was mine and Phil's 1st BMW MOA Rally and boy did we pick the right one to go to. NEARLY 6,000 in attendance.
Took my drone up for an arial view. But, the smoke from the Canadian fire made for some poor visiblilty. I didn't bothter taking it back up. Now I wish I had. It was much clearer on Sat.. I didn't get much footage from the drone event wise because I don't fly directly over crowds ( per FAA rules ), and crowded it was.
My GoPro footage was pretty sketchy inside the building for some reason. ??
But, anyway, we had a great time checking out all the different years and models of BEEMERS that were present either by way of actual ridden or in the museum @ the Farm Bureau building.
The next BMW MOA Rally will be held in Redmond, OR June of 2024. Not sure I'll be able to make that one or not. But, gonna try really hard to be there.
We met so many NICE people that were more than willing to share their BMW knowledge to us 1st timers.
