On a day where huge disruption was about with the 47's being about 1 hour late, power was not live from Portsmouth and Southsea to the Harbour. Shortly after the 47's left Portsmouth and Southsea the failed unit on Platform 2 limped back to Fratton C:S:D. However, the delay wasn't an issue towards the end as the Locomotives thrashed along to Southsea and Reversed there instead of Portsmouth Harbour due to a Line Block still being in place.
