Thais found out she was HIV+ after her boyfriend died of AIDS, and despite the shock of the news she managed to go after information - something she didn't have - in order to get around prejudice and live a happy life!

Today, Thais is married and has two children. Both her current husband and children do not have the HIV virus.

Thaís herself is considered undetectable, this occurs when the patient follows the correct treatment and in her exams she has such a low level of virus in the blood that she no longer transmits, nor does she have any disease evolution as a result of it.
