🐝While my husband is in a California prison, I have been visited by a Lady Wasp who built her nest in my window, between the outside screen and the glass. I have faithfully videoed the progress of her nest. A few days ago, I found a dead wasp on the sidewalk near my Central California apartment and thought it was my Lady Wasp, done in by Hurricane Hillary. Today, my Wasp returned! She went in and out of her nest, feeding her babies useful treats like dead Black Widow spiders. A viewer told me that he was stung on the hand by a wasp, but I have stood outside my window, unharmed as my Lady Wasp flew right past me. I think that wasps are mostly solitary creatures who build cool nests with mud and don't usually bother humans. I'm glad they kill dangerous things like Black Widow spiders that can kill humans (my mother was bit by that spider and told me that it hurt so much, she wanted to die!). Go, Lady Wasp!🪺
