Cuando la parranda murciana se hace en tonos menores, las melodías “se van” hacia lo que por allí le dicen “Peretas”. Las melodías al violín que interpreta Jonatan Mateos son del murciano Pedro Cabrera, basadas en los estilos que asentaron Pepe Torrente y Juan “Carujo”. Y, de las coplas que cantamos, hemos creado nosotros mismos las melodías y hemos compuesto las letras sobre otras que ya existen en la tradición.

When the Murcian parranda is performed in minor tones, the melodies "go" towards what they call "Peretas" there.
