The 2021 High School Cross Country season was one for the ages. Newbury Park High set a new precedent for what a boys' team could accomplish. At the forefront? Two sets of brothers, Lex and Leo Young, Colin and Aaron Sahlman. Throughout the year, we've shown the nation’s "fastest cross country team ever" making history and breaking records. We now reveal fun historical images, daily routines, captivating family dynamics, and secret recipes. It may have been a happy coincidence that these gifted athletes came together at the same time and place, but it took dedication, competitiveness, coaching, and family support to achieve ultimate success.
