I finally updated my JT4000 Micro and I discovered how a simple thing like a new firmware dramatically transformed this synth.
In this video, we take a closer look at the new oscillator balance option, but mostly we delve into the new "Hold" function. Not only it's great for drones, but its incredible synergy with the arpeggiator effectively creates a quasi-onboard sequencer. I'll show you how these enhancements elevate the JT4000 Micro's capabilities, making it a more versatile and powerful instrument for both standalone and DAW-less workflows.
Also, there's an interesting chord function that opens further possibilities for drone music and more.
