We spent some time geocaching in the Mississippi Delta on the Blues Trail. We were able to see two of the three grave markers for blues man Robert Johnson as well as Pinetop Perkins. The oldest and largest cypress tree will have to wait for drier weather and hopefully less mosquitoes!
The MS Blues Trail is a collection which had around 96 active caches at places which were to commemorate dozens of Blues artist from Mississippi. Over 50 of those caches are still maintained as of today but the other locations still exist and can be visited. You can read about and find the coordinates for all the original locations on the Geocaching website. Just go to this page and see them all:

One thing I did not discuss was the meeting I had at one of Robert Johnson's grave sites. A man in his mid 90's approached me as Tammy was looking into the swamp for the cache in the trees. He knew why we were there and introduced himself as Richard Johnson. He didn't proclaim to be a relative but talked for a long time about the area. So, if you are in a cemetery and are approached by an old fella with a cane, it just may be Richard Johnson. Tell him I said Hi!
