Ken McEnerney came up with this fly for calm conditions where movement is more important than noise. Fish it slow, twitch it, let it sit and wait for the bass to suck it in. Having only the ruber tail and no skirt makes this pattern as straightforward as a stacked bug gets with only a couple of materials needed, once the tail is tied in you can concentrate on your hair work.
