Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.


وَٱلْعَصْرِ
Ayah/Verse 1: wal-ʿaṣri
Meaning: By the ˹passage of˺ time
[Wal ‘asr]


إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ
Ayah/Verse 2: inna l-insāna lafī khus’rin
Meaning: Indeed, the human being is surely in loss
[Innal insaana lafee khusr]


إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ
Ayah/Verse 3: illā alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti watawāṣaw bil-ḥaqi watawāṣaw bil-ṣabri
Meaning: except those (i.e., human being) who believe and do the righteous deeds, and recommend ˹each other˺ to the Truth, and recommend ˹each other˺ to the Patience
[Illal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqqi wa tawaasaw bissabr]
