We are continuing our Marvel Marathon Madness with 2017 Logan, the ninth installment in the X-Men film series, that is not counting Deadpool, as well as the final chapter within the Wolverine trilogy of movies. The plot of this film, which was heavily inspired by the amazing "Old Man Logan" comics storyline by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, follows an aged Wolverine and a very sick Charles Xavier, as they go about through a dystopian world where mutants have mostly died out due to targeted extermination, and the two are now simply trying to survive. They meet a young mutant named Laura, who we later find out has a lot more in common with Wolverine than we thought, and must now defend her from a group named the Reavers led by the vicious villains Donald Pierce and Zander Rice. So, let us go ahead and jump straight in to the plot.
