In the southeast of the Gingee Fort, this architectural wonder Sri Pattabi Ramar Temple is located. The Pattabi Ramar Temple is in a dilapidated condition, where scholars cannot identify the exact period of the Temple. Since the architecture resembles Nayaka Pattern, this Temple would have been built around the same time as the Venkataraman Temple (15 - 16th century).

Once this Pattabi Ramar temple is architectural as significant,
perhaps even more than the Venkata Ramanaswami Temple also called Venkataramana Temple. The twelve-pillared mandapa in it constitutes its most prominent feature. The hall's base rises to the heights of artistic beauty, and there are climbing steps on all four sides. The sculptures on the outer walls of the stairs are of great artistic value, with different sculptures on all four sides. They have sculpted a giant bird holding an elephant in its mouth, which is artistic beauty.

Gingee Nayak's artistic sensibility can be easily felt by anyone who sees this Pattabi Ramar Temple. Beautifully carved Ramar epic story sculptures are on the sidewall of the entrance, which resembles the Venkataramana Temple.

Inside the temple premise, three sanctum sanctorum is seen, and no statues are available. To the right side of the Temple, a beautiful Hampi like structure is seen. And the pillars for this open hall sound differently, which is magnificent.
