Here it is, the trip report back home to Phoenix, AZ from Tucson, AZ. I flew on American Eagle Flight #3105 on a CRJ 700. The windows were clean again! The Tucson Airport has changed. There is now new signage when entering the airport. The baggage claims got new screens for arriving flights. Those old ceiling text generators were removed. The moving walkways were replaced and upgraded to be as fast as the moving walkways at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. There are new announcements in English and in Spanish on how to properly use the moving walkways. The airport was very crowded. All prerecorded robotic and voice announcements were removed. It is almost like the El Paso Airport now with no announcements, except the moving walkway announcements. There are robotic automated flight announcements, but the gate agent didn't use them and announced the flight the old fashioned way. All the technology aspects of the airport were upgraded. The flight itself was very good and quick. Once airborne, around 20 minutes. I was the only person who got off in Phoenix. Everyone else had a layover and was going somewhere else. I hope you enjoy this trip report.
