The Tailwater Charlie is one of our OG nymph patterns designed by Sam for the Missouri River. This nymph is killer during the winter months as a top fly if tied with a brass bead. Usually we opt for a glass bead and run it underneath a bigger scud/sowbug pattern but mixing up weight and color can prove to occasionally trigger more eats.
