With autumn here and winter on the way we like to make sure everyone at Castle Craig is warm and cosy. The fire is lit every morning to give a cosy, warming ambience.

You can practise some Mindfulness while watching the flames:

Relax your breath, relax your body,
Let the flickering light and crackling sound focus your mind on the here and now,
Imagine the heat, imagine the smell of smoking wood, imagine the warmth of the room.
Visualise the flame as a source of love and light,
Visualise the flame as burning away your negative feelings,
Visualise the light lighting the way for you in what you do today,
Enjoy your quiet mind and inner peace.
At the end of the video take a deep breath and close your eyes.
Wait a few moments focusing on a positive mantra: today I am grateful for..."
Take a deep breath, exhale and open your eyes.
