SWIDT are a collective of mates who all grew up together in Onehunga, known as the voice of Onehunga. ‘312’ released in 2004 is named after the bus from their hood of Onehunga, which is the main focal point of their tracks. SWIDT have been making music together on-and-off since high school, but after producer Smokey started placing his beats with US rappers like J Rock and Hit-boy and spent much of 2015 in LA, he returned to Onehunga and inspired his old friends to get up to his level.
