In this self-portrait project, students explored the work of Kathryn Del Barton. They choose an environment and decided what plants and animals to include. After explorations of colour, texture and pattern and research of their chosen images students are asked to combine the elements and block them in on A3 watercolour paper. This tutorial has been designed to support this process.
