So I finally got a car of my own now, which means I can venture out myself to sirens that are longer distances from me, and this is one of them. Was about a two hour drive over to Somerville to see their Sentry. Sure, it's just a noon blast but honestly I think it was definitely worth the time because 1. I have yet to hear a Sentry up until this point and 2. I got the first recording of it as there was none previously. This sucker was loud and had a big raspy punch to it, and man these dual rotor Sentries are freaking huge too. Footage came out great too. Overall, a short but very sweet test.
Somerville also has a B&M 10GA located at the Somerville Lake Dam as a Dam failure siren. However, after a quick visit, it seems neglected and is likely inactive.
