Here is the NEW Abarth 500e Electric Scorpionissima. This is abarths first electric car and a shift from the petrol engines of old into the world of electric. The Abarth 500e is longer and wider than the previous platform and runs a 42kwh battery found in the longer range fiat 500e. The abarth however has a more powerful 113.7kw motor powering the front wheels that produces a 7 second 0-62mph time. The Abarth 500e was put on a track against a combustion engine 695 and it was a second a lap faster boasting how much quicker it is low down and being able to power out of the corners. In order for Abarth to keep some character they have produced a sound generator for the abarth 500e which will allow you to pump in sounds from the abarth engine varient into the ev model.
