This is a trip that we took in the first week of December 2022 when the short December rains were on and everywhere was green. It was also the Land Cruiser 80 series Shakedown (first) trip when we got to get a good feel of it.

The Pajero has served us very well. It has taken us to many epic and remote places without a fuss or drama. But it was lacking space for the 5 of us. Also we needed a tougher recovery and towing vehicle for the Mara Nomads family.

This was also about exploring Ol Pejeta and enjoying Jambo Mutara Camp, a fantastic place that's not enough well enough. Ol Pejeta is hands down the second best park in Kenya after Maasai Mara. Nowhere else will you see such wide variety of wildlife.
