Addressing the ongoing lack of gender and ethnic diversity in engineering and engineering trades remains a critical issue today. Our latest research project titled "Experiences of Indigenous Women of New Zealand (Māori) in Engineering and Engineering Trades" aims to amplify the voices of Māori women—a minority group historically marginalized through colonization.

Through in-depth exploration, we spotlight the lived experiences of five Māori women who are working in engineering and engineering trades professions. As part of our research outputs, we've produced individual video profiles featuring each participant and by sharing them we hope to inspire more women and girls to follow their footsteps.

Please listen to Stephanie Crosson’s inspirational story and share it with your network.
