Went on a 2-day trip out to Lake Amador & Lake Camanche targeting early season trout. It was tough fishing, but a lot to be excited about in the upcoming weeks. If you're headed out, I recommend taking baits that are natural in color (ie natural shad) and get your spoons ready. It's going to be popping soon!
