We have officially reached three months into our homeschooling journey so far and I thought this was a good time to answer some questions we’ve been getting and to share some general information about our routine, the program we are using, making the decision to homeschool my autistic son without a general IEP, etc.

While there is a lot of commitment and work involved, we don’t regret our decision at all and the pros far outweigh any cons. The first year of homeschooling tends to generally be the hardest, but we’re getting the hang of things rather quickly and he’s doing really well academically, mentally, and emotionally!
