Join me in reminiscing about a beautiful gospel medley from my childhood, sung in the Wiru Language of Pangia, Southern Highlands, Papua New Guinea. These songs hold deep meaning and spiritual significance.
The first song reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus, with the chorus expressing the pain He bore on Calvary for all of us. “ My brother, oh on the broad daylight, on Calvary you bore great pain for me and you.””
The second song speaks about a friend called to Paradise by God, reminding us of the divine promise that we will all be called individually to our heavenly home.
