After we reached the decision of casting a lower part of the keel ourselves all focus has been on finish and deciding on a keel design - which is presented in this video!
Next step is to start making the plug, which we decided to make out of styrofoam.

We are Thomas and Petra and late August 2020 we left Sweden to start our first sailing adventure. We sailed for a year to the Caribbean and back again. October 2023 we bought a new sailboat, a Wasa 530 that is need of some renovation.

On our channel you will be able to follow our process - from buying a sailboat that has been standing for 10+ years and turning her into a perfect blue water cruiser!
