All in all, I am impressed with the charger - on an overcast day in Ireland it produced 19v and 7mA, which should help keep the battery topped off. The downside is that it's ever so slightly too big to fit comfortably on the rear parcel shelf. My plan was to attach velcro strips to the back of the panel and stick it on the shelf.

The nice thing about this particular charger is the OBDII output, which means you don't need to run wires into the engine bay either out via the door or through a hole in the engine firewall. That was the main reason for buying this unit compared to other ones.
