In this video we explore Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus and the southernmost capital of the European Union. I will show you how this city is set up from the inside. We will walk along Makarios Avenue, one of the main arteries of the city. We will appreciate Nicosia's unique parks and immerse ourselves in its fascinating history. We will also get to know Sakis and his restaurant, hear local opinions about the northern and southern parts of the island, and try Meze, an authentic local cuisine. We'll stop by the University of Nicosia, which is the lifeblood of the city, look at accommodation in the centre and find out about rental prices.
