In the actual top 5 drivers, only Max Verstappen won here in 2022

No driver has ever won twice this GP but Sergio Pérez (2021, 2023)

With an astonishing 27 meters elevation, the Azeri circuit runs almost all the time under the sea level all around the old and new town. With the narrowest corner in T8 and the longest straight line in the last sector along the coast (2,2KM), this track is certainly one of the most challenging of the calendar.

Khazri, the cold and extreme wind coming from the Caspian Sea, blowing up to 140kph will certainly add the last touch of adjika this event offers.
