How to change Car Ownership/Mulkiya from Dubai to Sharjah?

Steps!

1. Go to any Shamil or Tasjeel Dubai. Apply for car transfer ownership. Requirements: Mulkiya, EID of both seller and buyer, and surrendered car plates. Pay the car cancellation (520aed). Then you will received thru sms the Hiyasa (Transfer Certificate).

2. If the car is in Dubai, you can rent towing truck to bring the car to Sharjah Tasjeel Autovillage.

3. Bring the car for car test. (150aed). If you want to add computer test plus 105aed.

4. Wait for your token# to be called for payment. Then once payment done, go back to reception for another token number for registration of new TC# (100aed).

5. Once done with TC#, you can already apply for car registration thru MOI mobile app. It will cost you 545aed for car registration, new plates and plates installation.

6. After paying, you can check your new mulkiya in MOI app. Proceed to Car plates section. Show your new mulkiya and eid. Then after 3-5min, they will give your new car plates.

7. Proceed to car plates installation section.

That's it!

Note: In your car insurance, make it sure that the emirate of the car to be registered is Sharjah.
