The Mayfly is slowly navigating down the Barrow from Carlow to St Mullins. Taking advantage of some rare sun to charge all batteries today and picking up our daughter Salammbo at the railway station in the late afternoon before continuing on our way.

Eco Showboat artists Anne Cleary & Denis Connolly are navigating Ireland’s inland waterways meeting local artists, scientists and communities to spark climate action. In 2022 they travelled south to north from Limerick to Enniskillen using only solar power.
